Notes:
2:15 - "The value isn't in the conference, the value is in seeing the people. The sports bettors aren't really going to the conference." This is because the sports bettors understand value and Sloan's value proposition for bettors has deteriorated, time to just see the people outside the conference.

3:15 - "Did you ask Mike Craig about the RAS stuff?" "He has a good perspective on it, Ed has had the company a long time, Ed takes things a little personally, but they are clearly working hard but it's been a frustrating year."

Rufus and Jeff dissect some golf prop team contest they came up with at dinner. Riveting content. 18:15 - "We've lost anyone who isn't a super golf nerd at this point." Hey, at least we're self aware. 20:50 - "We're literally listening to you read through a spreadsheet." This is awful.

24:10 - Sloan Panel talk re:PrizePicks like sites and parlays that aren't a game of skill, but about how data can be used to raise the lifetime value of a customer, "habituation", but also using data to prevent problem gambling. Jeff very interestingly says he didn't ask the questions he might have in the past, "neutered".

32:00 - idPair convo. This is such an important convo I am really glad they brought it up, sort of steals my thunder from something I was writing, but who knows if I will ever finish. If you don't know idPair wants to do, take some time. They don't really get into the topic that deeply, but this should get your brain moving. What is a product like this truly capable of? How willing will the information be shared? What's the worst case weaponization of a product like this? How would you combat something like the worst case scenario?

39:15 - NBA 1H totals - who is moving them? They don't know, but if you bet the NBA (which I don't), you should probably look into data mining these moves - the extent, the timing, etc.
