Notes:
VP @ GLI = Gaming Laboratories International (of which I knew very little about). Largest independent test laboratory for regulated gaming, instruments, audits, etc. Wrote the standard GLI33 Event Wagering.
(So, I had never read this before - it's 73 pages and easily available as a PDF online.)
2:20 - Take a shot, politics talk. (Bro, just start another podcast and move all the content there. 8 minutes of a 37 minute pod. It's *every* pod.)
13:30 - Joe made DuecesCracked 15 years ago which is still up today! (Actually, pretty incredible.) 14:45 - Starts working for BetAmerica an ADW (Advanced Deposit Wagering) which was sold to Churchill. 16:00 - 6 minutes of poker discussion that isn't very interesting.
22:45 - GLI Talk: "Sit in between the suppliers and the regulators." Smaller gaming regulators do not have their own testing infrastructure, NJ and NV do.
25:50 - Host, who has gone through a GLI33 certification, goes in on GLI33 calling it esoteric, onerous and not really getting to the heart of what would make a sportsbook fraudulent. (This is why Jason is a good host, just completely unafraid.). Reply is that the minutia is so that issues can be easily analyzed - standardization / change management allows for quick compliance and investigation. Jason brings up "regulatory capture", Jason is fearless. Barriers to entry, limiting innovation, hegemony, etc.
