Notes:
My bias is that I really like Jordan and the HoopVision content and have been subscribed since basically Day 1.

No real betting commentary. Have to be a die hard NCAAM fan to get anything out of this. Thought the most interesting part of the podcast was 18:45 where he talks about midrange jumpshot frequency as you progress in the Tourney.

Houston - common defensive tactic is drop coverage on PnR, Houston is the complete opposite, blitz all ball screens with their big men. Bucking the trend yet #1 in DEff. While 3PT D usually luck based, Sampson coached teams generally pretty good against 3PTers. Players w/long wingspans, ex Tugler 6'7" w/a 7'+ wingspan.

9:45 - college game how 3PT volume has changed by year in transition. Large increase, no real change in efficiency of these shots. Creighton takes 57% of their transition shots from 3. Air Force takes 49% of shots from 3 in half court, only 22% in transition and they don't make them.

15:50 - Midrange jumpshots, Aug 2023 research. Byproduct of drop coverages. Still a pretty inefficient shot. 18:45 - interesting finding, as you advance deeper into the tourney, you take more midrange jumpers
