Not going to do a lot of these, but for anyone who bets NFL Draft you all know Step #1 is figuring out the quarterbacks. The QBs drive the entire draft and I thought this was the first pod I’ve heard that I think runs down all of the scenarios properly + a Penix scenario I never considered.

4:20 - DJ sounds very confident WAS is not trading they are "sticking and picking" the pick is not for sale. Brings up Sam Howell move and how Maye and Howell are very tight and how that would have caused an awkward QB room. Mariota not really a "bridge QB". DJ has Maye, Bucky has Daniels. (McShay thinks Daniels in the tier with Caleb)

7:00 - Pats. Brings up Eliot Wolf passing on Josh Allen for Mayfield. DJ makes it sound like this pick could be for sale and I tend to agree (I feel like the probability this pick is traded is higher than mocks are showing currently). Trade partners possibly NYG (6), MIN (11), LV (13). Bucky brings up Antonio Pierce recruited Daniels. For MIN, Josh McCown (QBs Coach in MIN) coached Maye in high school.

11:55 - Not breaking news here, ARI and LAC would love to trade down.

17:55 - Giants potentially if Maye available at 3.

18:40 - "QB Alley" - picks 11, 12, 13 (MIN, DEN, LV). "Everyone connecting them to Nix at 12" because of Payton with Brees and Nix' Brees like traits (personally I don't see it). Bucky "If Bo Nix doesn't go 12, does he go anywhere in the 1st round? Maybe they trade back." This, I agree with. Payton takes some strays on his "QB eval abilities" and Ian Book catches a stray.

23:15 - LV - "if you like Penix, do you take him at 13 or trade back?" Bucky would take the player (lol).

24:30 - Penix to possible SEA connection which I found FASCINATING because I didn't have SEA as a super QB needy team. Ryan Grubb the OC was just at Washington. John Schneider has always valued big hands in his QB. "Penix has meat hooks." Big arm, speed, knows the offense. Not sure I have heard this one before, this is a good one because this probably changes my pricing for 1st Round QBs Taken prop. "You watch Geno throw, you watch Howell throw, Penix is different, the ball jumps." SEA no second round pick.
